Festival Club
Bringing the wonder of circus, outdoor arts, and performance to your doorstep.

Festival Club is Super Culture’s multi-arts engagement offer that connects local neighbourhoods with the buzz of the festival season. Working alongside both local and national artists, this initiative provides a direct route for communities to take part, take ownership, and even take the stage. It is the perfect opportunity to try your hand at the incredible acts and disciplines that fill our town with colour.

Who it’s for: Tailored for all abilities and ages—there is a skill to be learnt for each member of the family.

When it runs: Runs in tandem with our seasonal festival programmes, featuring a variety of dates throughout the year.

Where: Hosted across various community venues in Weston-super-Mare, utilizing a mix of open-access sessions and targeted group offers.

Cost: Free (some workshops may require advanced registration/sign-up due to venue capacities).
What you can learn: From breakdancing and flag making to open circus skills training and festive community flashmobs, there is something to inspire every creative journey.
Circus Daze
Get ready to run away with the circus this summer!

Circus Daze transforms outdoor public spaces into hubs of high-flying physical creativity and active play. This thrilling summer holiday programme is packed with high-energy activities designed to help develop coordination, balance, confidence, teamwork, and imagination in a safe, welcoming environment. Come along to learn new skills, meet new friends, and experience the pure magic of the circus!

Who it’s for: Specifically designed to keep children and young people active and creatively engaged during the school break.

When it runs: Every Tuesday during the Summer Holidays (28 July – 1 September) from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Where: Outdoors at the Italian Gardens, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1JU.

Cost: Free, no booking required – just turn up on the day and join the fun!
What to expect:

Launch Day Special (28 July): Featuring “Street Cat Strut” (a fast-paced Chinese pole show by Trashcat Productions), cat ears & tail making with Zara Emily, face painting with Ezzie & crew, and poi workshops with Daisy.

Weekly Sessions (4 Aug – 1 Sept): Drop-in aerial arts & tightwire have-a-go workshops with Circomedia, creative face painting, and open-box circus skills (diabolo, plate spinning, juggling, flower sticks, hula hoops) with Farmyard Circus.
