Circus Daze

Get ready to run away with the circus this summer!

Weston-super-Mare’s Italian Gardens will be bursting with physical creativity, and high-flying fun as Circus Daze returns for a fantastic programme of free circus activities for young people throughout the school holidays.

These exciting drop-in sessions are designed to keep young people active, confident and creatively engaged all summer long and will be running every Tuesday during the Summer Holidays (28 July – 1 September) from 10am-2pm at the Italian Gardens.

The sessions will launch on Tuesday 28 July with Street Cat Strut by Trashcat Productions.

Street Cat Strut combines high skill aerial circus, a bit of kung fu and a lot of silliness. TrashCat Productions brings you a fast paced, delightful show on Chinese pole displaying the acrobatic antics of two crazy street cats (followed by a quick cat nap).

The launch event will also include Cats Ears & Tail making with Zara Emily, Cat Facepainting with Ezzie & crew, Poi with Daisy, Aerial and Tightwire have-a-gos with Circomedia.

Circus Daze Sessions continue throughout the summer holidays each week, 10am – 2pm:

Whether you’re trying circus skills for the first time or looking to master a new trick, there’s something for everyone. Each session is packed with fun, high-energy activities that help develop coordination, balance, confidence, teamwork and creativity in a safe and welcoming environment. Come along, learn new skills, meet new friends and experience the magic of the circus this summer!
