Kamchàtka

This award-winning street theatre show asks: Shall we build our future with the stranger, or reject them?

Kamchàtka follows eight characters lost in the city, each carrying their own suitcase. Passers-by or immigrants? Naive and curious, knowing nothing of our norms, rules or way of life, their emotions are barely contained. Their subtle, immersive game blurs into reality, opening a space for dialogue where the spectator becomes an active part of the exchange. In the process, Kamchàtka becomes a mirror of our behaviour towards the Other, the Foreign, the Different.
Intense, potent and contemporary street theatre that leaps over barriers and speaks to our shared humanity. Suitable for all ages.
