Green Futures: Green Utopias – Storytelling & Collage Workshop
For all ages
Create your vision of a sustainable, nature-friendly future through free-flowing artistic expression and creativity. With climate activist and writer Ana Salote, and avid colleger Josh Mousley, workshop participants will experiment and use their imaginations whilst engaging in creative and inspiring conversations about our hopes for sustainable, green futures.
Using a range of writing and drawing utensils, environmental texts and collage materials, you can create and share your stories of a ‘Green Future’, which will then be displayed in the Artspace windows as part of an exhibition. There are no right or wrong answers, and no one potential future – we are storytelling and imagining futures where the world is your unicorn! Create a storyboard, write a short story, pen a poem, create a collage or illustration, or a combination of all of these things.
Materials will be provided, though if you have any nature or environmental texts or images you would like to use (and scissors!) do bring them along.
