GLOW 2023
We’re delighted to announce the return of GLOW! Following the huge success of last year’s inaugural light Festival, GLOW is back bigger and brighter than ever to dazzle Weston-super-Mare.
EXPLORE THE FULL PROGRAMME
Over four evenings during February half term, the town will be transformed by stunning displays of magical illumination, in this sustainably-produced event that celebrates nature and the environment.
Visitors to GLOW can expect to be enthralled by a trail of light installations, interactive activities and sensory experiences suitable for all the family – from nationally-acclaimed spectacles and new showcase commissions, including artwork from internationally acclaimed artist Chila Kumari Singh Burman – to a shining community programme of local, creative talent.
Entry to GLOW in Grove Park is from 6pm to 9pm each night.
Grove Park requires advance booking. Tickets are Pay What You Decide with allocated time slots – minimum entry is £0.50. More on our Pay What You Decide policy is HERE.
Under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.
Light installations around the town centre are free for everyone to enjoy.

We recommend allowing around 45 minutes to complete the trail. The trail is self-guided so you can do a shortened version.
The majority of the event is wheelchair accessible, including all town centre locations. However, due to the terrain in Grove Park, please note that the whole trail may not be fully accessible.
There will be an accessible toilet available at Grove Park.
Assistance dogs are permitted.
There will be seating available in Grove Park.
Refreshments, including hot food and drinks, will be available in Grove Park, and free drinking water.
GLOW is a multi-sensory event – there will be lights, sounds and things to interact with.
During the event itself, our Culture Makers in hi-viz blue vests will be there to assist.
