Weston Wallz – Weston’s own street art festival

Weston Wallz, Weston’s own Street Art festival, returned for the fifth year this July. Across nine-days Weston became a hub of creativity, community and colour as people took part in live painting, workshops, arts activities and street art tours. The result? A free to explore outdoor gallery featuring 19 new artworks across the town.

“This year’s Sprayjam was the perfect finale to Weston Wallz! We had a record-breaking 400+ people at the on-site workshops – absolutely amazing. Huge thanks to Super Culture and the jam board artists for bringing the vibe. Big win, big grin all round!” Lin Toulcher, Weston Wallz Organiser

Across the event over 30 hands-on workshops gave people of all ages the chance to dive in and try everything from Posca pens and spray paint to upcycling, printing, doodling and paper sculpture.

Kid Crayon teamed up with the North Somerset Youth Justice and Prevention Service to create a vibrant, character-packed piece.

Stunning new wall murals were created by Jodie Haslam and Luke Knight, both local artists who were supported through this year’s artist mentoring programme.

And the energy didn’t stop there… Sprayjam lit up the Italian Gardens on 26–27 July, as local and regional artists came together to create jaw-dropping temporary installations.

🕊️ Aumairah joined forces with Refugees Welcome North Somerset’s Next Gen Youth Project to craft a bold mandala design bursting with colour and a call for peace.

🌟 Don’t miss out! The temporary installations will be brightening up the Italian Gardens all through August.
