-
- Location – outside: Other programme activity will be located along Weston’s seafront promenade walkway which is flat, making the majority of activities accessible on foot and by pushchair/wheelchair. There will however, be some programme activity taking place in different surrounding areas that may be more difficult to get to, see below.
- Stewards: During the event itself, our team and Culture Maker volunteers will be wearing hi-viz blue vests and be on-hand to assist.
- Toilets: Permanent accessible toilets are available 5 minutes away on foot, at the RLNI building, with an accessible portaloo by the Promenade info tent.
- Parking: Melrose Car Park is the closest paid car park with at least 9 disabled parking bays, with some payable (card & cash) on-street parking available around Marine Lake and Knightstone Island.
TENT INFO:
- Outside Pathways: Some areas may include narrow or uneven ground. Please take care, remain aware of trip hazards such as guy ropes or anchor points, and follow clearly marked routes.
- Footwear & Clothing: Please wear practical, supportive footwear (e.g. avoid high heels/stilettos) and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
- Weather Preparedness: In hot or sunny conditions, the tent can get very hot. Guests are encouraged to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen or hats, and bring refreshments.
