Healing Drum Circle for Addiction Related Loss and Grief

Join Wendy Ruddick for a special healing drum circle to honour our loss and grief.

This will be a safe and compassionate space for people to come and connect, feel held, receive and/or express through the healing power of the drum.

The drum is the heartbeat, so it connects us with our hearts. We feel a sense of unity and connection when we drum together. The vibrations of the drum can help release emotions held in the body and bring healing. Together, we will remember and honour our losses, our grief, and allow any released emotions to flow.  There will be an opportunity to speak and share anything that wishes to be heard as well as to simply drum together.

Wendy has many years of experience as a counsellor and holistic therapist working mainly with people recovering from addiction and associated loss and trauma, but also in the wider community. She will be available for support both during the session and afterwards if needed.

If you have your own frame drum then please bring it, spare drums and refreshments will be provided. .

This is a ground floor venue but please get in touch with Wendy at wruddick88@gmail.com if you have any accessibility needs.

This event is programmed as part of Good Grief Weston. Click here to find out more.
