Now in its sixth year, the Take Five: Weston Arts + Health Festival once again celebrates the rich and varied creative wellbeing opportunities available throughout Weston-super-Mare — both in the community and within the hospital.

The festival continues to take inspiration from the Five Ways to Wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Give, and this year’s focus, Keep Learning. Embracing lifelong learning is vital not only for personal growth but also for the wellbeing of our wider community, and there are surely no better vehicles for emotional growth than art and play. A sustained spirit of curiosity keeps us nourished, empathetic, and open to new possibilities — helping us to thrive together.
We’re also proud to collaborate with Race Equality North Somerset and the Diverse Artists Network, presenting events and activities that support the town’s Many Cultures, One Community campaign.
The programme is rich and diverse, with events taking place across the community and within the hospital — culminating in a joyful weekend of shared activity on the beach. Whatever sparks your interest, we warmly invite you to come along, try something new, and join in a collective celebration of creativity, wellbeing, and connection in one of Weston’s most special locations.
