Take Five: Creative Journaling from your kitchen table

Join Amy for an inspiring online session to explore the practice of Creative Journaling.

Discover how this simple yet powerful tool can help you visually connect with your thoughts and emotions, making it easier to understand, organise, and reflect on your inner world.

Creative Journaling offers a safe space to express yourself freely—recording your thoughts, inspiration, learning, meaningful quotes and anything you’d like to remember throughout the weekender.

When life feels overwhelming, journaling can help lighten the mental load. Putting thoughts down on paper can provide clarity and emotional relief. Your journal becomes a space to play, explore, and experiment without judgement—unlocking creativity that might otherwise feel out of reach.

In this interactive workshop, Amy will share her own journals and techniques, along with creative prompts to get you started. All you need is a notebook, journal, or even just some paper and a pen. If you have additional art supplies—such as paints, oil pastels, crayons, colouring pencils, glue and magazines—bring those too. Even household items like tin foil and packaging can add a fun, imaginative touch.

Amy will also introduce her latest project, The Eternal Journal—a collaborative, physical journal open to everyone. This project aims to raise awareness for arts and health charities while showcasing the powerful benefits of Creative Journaling.
