SUPER WONDER SHRINE Performances!

We are programming an eclectic array of great artists to pop up on SUPER WONDER SHRINE and bring even more colour to Morag Myerscough’s vibrant bandstand for the 21st Century on Weston High Street!

Expect music, fun, poetry, performance and, sometimes, a little bit of the unusual …

Tuesday 25 July, 11am, 12pm and 1pm, Action Pussycat

Action Pussycat will be bringing some excitement and colour to the bandstand with their family fun show. There will be games, party dances, magic and mischief.

Action Pussycat have been entertaining families since 2001 with birthday parties, cabaret shows and event entertainment. Their interactive entertainment will have everyone laughing and joining in.

Thursday 27 July, 12pm, Rhyme On the Shrine!

Before Rhyme against the Tide celebrates its 10th slam in October join us at the Shrine for some extra special (non-competitive) poetry performances from the Rhyme Against the Tide poets.

Rhyme against the Tide is a regular poetry slam featuring poets from Weston & beyond who take to the stage with their spoken words in the hopes of impressing the audience and becoming the next slam winner!

Sunday July 30 and Friday August 4, 12-3pm, Jams Under the Bandstand – From the Mud Festival Summer Festival

Back for its second year, From The Mud are hosting a festival to present the exciting work their artists have created. And they’re performing at the Shrine! Expect originality, fun and something a little out of the ordinary

Sunday 13 August, 2pm, Will Crawford Drums

Will Crawford thrashes out his solo performance on the Shrine, with an eclectic playlist. Be prepared for his rhythm sticks to hit us with anything from Red Hot Chilly Peppers to S Club 7!

Come along and tap your feet, smack your thighs or shake your head in time to the beat.
