Rhyme Against the Tide
Join us at Loves Cafe on FRIDAY the 30th of June for the ninth instalment of Weston’s most competitive yet friendly war of words!
Hosted by poet Sophie Shepherd, a line-up of spoken word super slammers will take to the stage to battle it out in the hopes of impressing the audience and becoming the next ‘Rhyme against the Tide’ Slam Winner!
Our Jan slam winner, Colin Taylor, will also be returning to treat us to a wonderfully wordy headline set.
As well as the good-spirited competitiveness, the bar will be flowing and Loves will have some delicious supper available for £6! Doors open 7pm. Slam starts at 7:45pm
