Life’s a Beach Poetry Slam

Rhyme against the tide is bobbing up the estuary to host this unique summer slam with Clevedon Lit Fest! 

Join us in the Alexandra Gardens on Sunday the 11th of June for a FREE afternoon of fun and fierce wordsmithery from local poets – hosted by Weston’s own Sophie Shepherd.

‘Life’s a beach’ is this slam’s OPTIONAL theme so we want your words on saving the planet, saving our summers, saving our flora and fauna, or something completely random – you choose. 

Points will be awarded by our audience judges for the best spits and you know what points mean – Prizes!
