Anti-Gravity Interactive Circus Skills Show

Presented by Front Room

Anti Gravity is a 1-and-a-half man look at the history of modern circus and a detailed exploration of 3 of the circus disciplines.

Unlike many circus acts, this one utterly encourages emulation- we at Tiny Circus believe there is a circus discipline for everyone, and anyone can be a part of it. There are numerous benefits to the circus arts, from developing muscle tone and improving hand-eye co-ordination to promoting concentration and mental wellbeing.

Part 1 of the show focuses on juggling, and the technique required to successfully juggle 3 objects will be demonstrated and explained.
Part 2 looks at the “devil-on-two-sticks”, a less common circus skill based around the principles of equilibristics (the relationship between balance, equilibrium and momentum).

Part 3 of the show is led by my 12 year old son, and he will demonstrate his proficiency with the diabolo, a well known and well loved circus skill. He has worked out his own grand finale trick for your pleasure.

There will be opportunities for audience participation, and a “fabulous prize” for 1 lucky audience member.
