During the Maternity Leave of our Executive Director, the Head of Operations and Finance will work closely with our General Manager and Creative Director in managing the care of our small team and the processes, planning and governance that underpin and guide our portfolio of creative events and projects. The company is looking for someone to support, steer and guide the organisation and collaborate in the development of effective processes and systems. We are a team of 8 and are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a small team as a supportive, adaptable and approachable manager and leader.
Our Head of Operations and Finance will be a strong leader who has the motivation to have a role in delivering an ambitious and wide-ranging programme of work. The successful candidate will be a strong team-player, adaptable, intuitive and able to demonstrate prioritisation and self-direction as the company is hybrid and so lone or home working forms part of the pattern of work. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, approachable and clear in their expectations with the ability to think strategically in the short and long-term.
We are developing an approach to organisation culture that is trauma-informed, care-fuelled and relational. We would like our Head of Operations and Finance to share our ethos and support the building of positive organisational culture.
The Head of Operations and Finance role would suit someone with strong financial, governance and Management skills. While experience of working in the arts and culture sector may be helpful it is by no means essential, and we welcome applicants from other sectors who feel that they could deliver the role and support the organisation.
The role is being offered on a temporary employed contract, but we would be open to conversations with freelancers who feel they could deliver the role on a more flexible freelance basis.
