Weston’s favourite winter event is set to return in 2024, bigger, better and more exciting than ever before. GLOW Light Festival will illuminate the town centre from 13 – 17 February 2024, with stunning interactive and captivating light installations creating a trail through the centre of Weston.

We have a range of opportunities for local businesses to show their support. By supporting GLOW, you will align your brand to a pioneering arts programme and show your commitment to the creative future of Weston-super-Mare as well as increasing your own brand profile and recognition.

1. Great in-person opportunities to showcase your brand

Last year over 20,000 visitors came to GLOW to enjoy world-class, cutting-edge art, here in Weston-super-Mare. Installations can be located on, in or near to a sponsoring business – helping get people to notice your brand first-hand.

2. Increased brand visibility

Each sponsor we work with receives a presence (name and logo) across our website, marketing materials and social media campaigns. This includes a advertising campaign with Global across GWR stations in the West of England that reaches over 100,000. In 2023, there were 15,000 unique page views to the GLOW light festival webpages on the Culture Weston website and with social media campaign across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram reaching a further 77,000.

3. Unique media and marketing moments

GLOW light festival receives extensive local, regional, and national media coverage in print, broadcast and online. In the past this included live coverage on BBC Points West and coverage on BBC News online, Weston Mercury, Visit Bristol, Visit Weston-super-Mare, Somerset Live, Visit Somerset, Bristol Parent, Bristol Mums and others reaching over 350,000 people

4. Give back to the town

Every penny received from the public, businesses, trusts, and foundations goes directly towards the festival and keeping it accessible for everyone to attend. We programme a range of activities to engage with community groups, schools, and families to create new light art for the festival. GLOW helps enhance the town’s profile and reputation as an exciting cultural destination regionally and nationally by presenting large-scale, world-class arts events with the opportunity to experience and celebrate quality arts and culture. Last year the festival was worth nearly £500,000 to the local economy.
