I write poetry and short stories in my cabin that sits on the cliff edge of Weston, overlooking the town and a distant glimpse of the sea. I love to write stories that send a little chill through the reader. My creepy story ‘Cut Short’ was placed first in the Clevedon Litfest Competition in 2024. As a devoted fan of David Bowie, I was delighted to have my poem ‘More Than Glass Between Us’ published in issue 11 of David Bowie Glamour – The Fanzine.

I have an MA in Creative Writing from The Open University and co-facilitate regular creative writing workshops and writing projects in the local area, including Super Culture’s fortnightly online creative writing group, Chapter 1, which was established in 2019.  As well as being a writer, I’m Company Director within the family business and a doting grandmother to Addie.
