Poet in Every Port – Call for applications

Super Culture is thrilled to announce that we are a partner in New Poets Collective with Poet in Every Port to celebrate the Southbank Centre’s 75th anniversary!
Are you:
- An enthusiastic North Somerset based poet who would benefit from being part of a collective with Vanessa Kisuule and Will Harris.
- Interested in being involved with, or helping to create, a meaningful legacy for poetry in our local community and/or already doing so.
- Keen to develop your confidence and hone your writing, performance and facilitation skills
- Ready to be involved in intensive writing retreats, attend virtual and in-person workshops, and have opportunities to perform, both at the Southbank Centre and with us here in Weston!
The project is in conjunction with Poet in Every Port, an initiative driven by the National Poetry Library to take a mobile poetry library on tour.
From October 2025, this new collective will be mentored by Vanessa Kisuule and Will Harris to develop their confidence and hone their writing, performance and facilitation skills.
