Party on the Green 2024 Accessibility Statement

We aim to make Party on the Green an enjoyable and accessible experience for everyone. The festival takes place on Coniston Green and it is on a mix of level/flat hard standing and firm grassy areas. There are hard standing paths between all areas.

All shows will be viewable from areas of hardstanding and where we expect larger crowds a viewing will be reserved at the front for people in wheelchairs and those who may need a seat.

We will have dedicated quiet space if someone is in need of a private space for any reason.

We will have staff onsite to assist those with limited mobility, those who identify as d/Deaf or visually impaired and those who identify with sensory issues, emotional and social differences and neurodiversity. You can find them at the Info stall located and signposted in the centre of the park, or by speaking to any one in high visibility vests.

One of the shows is non-verbal and the show that is verbal, verbal communication is not essential to the enjoyment of the show.

Parking

There is lots of free street parking in the surrounding streets to the park, and level/dropped curb access from these to the park.

Toilets

A portable accessible toilet is available at the site, and will be clearly signposted.
