The Solace of Woods
Join Super Culture associate writers Sue Hill and Bob Walton, and multi-award-winning traditional singer Marianne McAleer, for a relaxing, there-and-back creative walk along Weston Woods’ main footpath. We’ll stop along the way to hear stirring woodland poems, stories and songs. Bring a pen and notebook, drawing materials or a camera – or simply come to observe and reflect on the woodland and the solace it offers.
We will walk whatever the weather, other than in dangerous conditions. The going is reasonably flat, but please wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a drink and snack. There is a parallel track for people with disabilities, though it is not in the best condition and may not be suitable for wheelchairs or mobility aids at this time of year.
Please contact hello@superculture.org.uk if you would like support on accessibility for this walk.
This event is programmed as part of Good Grief Weston. Click here to find out more.
