Memento Makers Workshops
Legacy Book Workshop, Sunday 4 October, 2pm-5pm
How do you want to be remembered? This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the practice of curating their own personal legacy. Guided by Esther Hall from This Mortal Life, you’ll explore what it means to preserve memories for future generations and begin to create your own legacy book – a collection of stories, photographs, recipes and other things that mean something to you. Esther will email everyone who registers a list of items they might like to bring to the workshop. All other materials are provided. Suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Framed Remembrance Collage Workshop, Saturday 10 October, 10am-1pm
Create a framed collage honouring someone’s memory, combining a meaningful poem, lyric or piece of writing alongside photographs, colours and images. The collages will open up conversations about legacy and remembrance – and some will be displayed at an exhibition at Weston Artspace during the Festival Weekend.
Suitable for all ages and experience levels. All materials provided – just bring yourself.
